Petit Salons Presents: A Shorts to Series Night
Our eleventh Monday Night Music & Film Salons at Petit Ermitage, co-hosted with Darby Gaelle Hannon, and BLKBRD Films, was held on Monday, February 3rd. We presented a celebration of short films that are in the process of development into television series.
We gathered at 7pm for live music by Emma Zander in The Wiggle Room before we moved to the firedeck for the screenings. We showcased the short films We Regret to Inform You and The Sperm Bank.
**This screening included a special appearance by the filmmakers of We Regret to Inform you and The Sperm Bank.
Written by Zina Wilde and Directed by Michelle Bossy, We Regret to Inform You is set in a dystopian future where everyone gets a courtesy call 24 hours prior to their death.
The Sperm Bank, Written by Jeremy Culhane & Rob Scerbo and Directed by Margaux Susi, follows a 23-year-old man newly diagnosed with stage 4 testicular cancer who must now take the first big step... masturbate into a cup to protect a future he isn't sure exists.
These evenings are beautiful and community building an ongoing collaboration between Petit Ermitage, Cheshire Moon Productions, and BLKBRD Films. Subscribe to our newsletter today to be the first to know when tickets go on sale for our next event.
